So I finally decided to draw one of my favorite actresses -- Ms. Ashley Greene. I'm not actually a huge fan of her but I really find her beautiful.

Love at First Sight

 

 

I was never a fan of hiphop music and never expected to be one until I saw his music video "Gayuma". He is Raymond Abracosa a.k.a. Abra, one of the the famous emcees of fliptop battles here in the Philippines. I find him attractive, talented and very charming like most women do. I decided to work on this simple digital paint of him while fan girling. :3

I found my old character sheet so I decided to redraw her. This is done in Paint Tool Sai and I just have to say that I love that program. I'm quite satisfied with my work and feel happy that I actually improved.

Bipolar Disorder

 

 

I just recently realized and proved myself experiencing this 'mood swing'. It often happens to me for I-don't-know-exactly-what reason. Feeling depressed and frustrated now, then few minutes later, I'll suddenly become lively and giggly and such. Is this even normal?

Sometimes, I just hate myself for being curious about a lot of things. I have these tons of questions in mind that most of them are left unanswered. What ifs, why, how and such, making me want to try something foreign--good or bad. But to think of it, mental inquisitiveness is a gift that I should be proud of. Through this, I learn, explore my skills, gain simple fulfillments and discover myself more. It is also a good exercise for my imagination and creativity. Sometimes, I just have to accept that there are things better left unsaid or unknown as limitations of human mind. The best thing for me to do is to follow my dreams and what my heart desires, and as what others commonly say, try and try until you succeed.

Just a quick sketch I made using Paint Tool Sai. I was inspired by the very controversial issue in our government. The Anti-Cybercrime Law here in the Philippines, though still up for further study, takes effect today. The said law includes the criminalization of libel or getting involve in cyber bullying, even simple criticisms, and is punishable by 12 years imprisonment. This is such a big threat to us netizens since it is a suppression of our freedom of speech.  

FIRST TRIES

Here are some of my "first time" works using different medium:

  My first ever oil painting done in 10x8" canvas. It was one of the requirements for my color rendering class. I used a reference photo for this.

 

This is my first drawing of a fantasy character. Enchantress, I think? I used my 4-yr. old cousin's card game for reference.

 

 

 

My first in using charcoal pencil. Did this in my life drawing class and I'm pretty satisfied with my work.

 

 

My first vector art done in photoshop. It is a self-portrait for my final project in life drawing class.

 

 

And here is my very first artwork done in the program Paint Tool Sai. This is a very recent one and I enjoyed doing it.
